Great scanner an its free too!

At least scanned an item - price listed was WAY under retail & online only - couldnt find anything else - nice light option

Scanned multiple products at home. No matches found for common suppliers. Possibly not Canada friendly.

Was 0 for 7 in Winnipeg MB.

I really was hoping it would work..... But of course, no.it really just had red line that blacked out most of the time and I tried multiple things, but nope never worked sorry but Im gonna have to give this app one star

I found this application really useful and only had a few problems with it unable to find the product that I want. It is accurate and found everything I scanned correct. It was difficult to use at first because I was holding up the item and it had problem scanning. When I placed it on the floor I didnt have any problems. It wasnt able to find some stuff though, such as some stuff that I purchased in a dollar store or something similar to that.

This app is one of the best barcode scanners and has the options is need.

I scanned several barcodes on items I found around my house. Only about half of them were in the database. I didnt find any prices that were even close to the retail price I paid locally.

This app is very useful it helps you look up the prices of anything the barcode scanning is just great work better than any other scanner Ive tried

This is the barcode scanner of choice. It does a great job and has all the features that add value. I love that it keeps a good history and returns results from both google and various other tools. The local options are real cool as well.

This is a cool idea for an app but I dont like using it. It is very high tech.

I gave 4 stars for the app – 1 star for the cameras ability to be used as a scanner. Perhaps the real fix is adding a Zoom Function to enlarge the image within the app. To make a real-world functional test, I built a simple cardboard box of the right height to space and stabilize the camera so the barcode was lined up and not moving around. I then could see that the real issue with All Barcode Scanner Apps is actually the lack of close focusing with the iPhone/iPod camera. For this reason also, lighting becomes an issue for even if light is good but out of focus, the thin lines will disappear becoming unidentifiable. These problems create the 3rd issue with all such apps; scanning speed. You wait because the app is attempting to read the out of focus barcode. Once the barcode is read correctly, the rest of the process is quick to finish. I chose this app for testing as it can build a list. What I was looking for (and what I think is of greater value) is an app to scan barcode for building a list that I can cut/paste or email for adding the data to a database (like inventory). This app did ok for that task after deleting the extra (unwanted) info. Used with iTouch 4G iOS 5.1

This app did not recognize a two liter Diet Coke!!!!! Then I scanned a canned Monster drink and it came up with some weird diet drink. Worthless to me.
